- It’s amazing how you can turn away from God and yet, when you call, He still answers.

- I first heard this song in a video about Ryan Hall (my favorite athlete-he’s a runner and a Christian) and I really enjoyed it. We sang it at church today, and I was reminded of the song. I like this as a prayer: asking God to consume me from the inside out, to make me love Him inside my heart but at the same time show that love to the world.

Opening lyrics are the best. And I just noticed, this one lyric “and the cry of my heart is to bring you praise” is SO convicting!

- I want this to be the prayer of my heart. I want all my delight to be in Christ.

You know what’s crazy? Is that I’ll wander and seek things other than God, and yet, he STILL looks after my well being. He never abandons me. He doesn’t just forgive me, but He blesses me, even when I don’t deserve it. Why is it that I don’t seek and desire God like I should?

- So I’ve decided that since my faith is an important part of my life, I would include worship songs on here every Sunday. Today’s message was about being called by God to look into the world and see what problems call us to take action. Whether it be to help provide food for hungry children or take a stand to end human trafficking, we need to find those things that really strike our heart. To see the things that “make God’s heart cry.”
