Song: Judging Books by Their Covers

Artist: Keaton Henson

Album: Metaphors- EP

- Keaton’s songs are depressing but lovely at the same time, as can be seen through this song. Lyrically, it’s beautiful, but it’s also extremely sad. He reminds me somewhat of a British City and Colour due to similarities in their acoustic sound and the tone of their lyrics.

Some other great songs to listen to are: Small Hands, You Don’t Know How Lucky You Are, Kronos, You, Beekeeper, Lying to You, and Teach Me. I’m sure I’ll be posting more of him on here in the future.

- I first learned about this song when I was at a friend’s house for a social. I really enjoy listening to it, and it’s a great song by Simon and Garfunkel. Worth a listen if you haven’t heard it before.

- Awesome band created by Michael Benjamin Lerner. They a sort of beach-pop/rock sound to them- a little like Beach Fossils but with their own unique style as well.

- I remember seeing Juno with my friends during my freshman year of high school, and hearing this song during the credits. My friend and I loved listening to how “weird” the songs were, like “Loose Lips” (it became an inside joke with us), and this was especially one of them. I rediscovered it today, and I feel like I enjoy it more now (maybe it’s the nostalgia, or maybe I’m just used to it).
